Founder & Managing Director
As founder and managing director at J. Boye, Janus has grown the business from an office at home in 2003 to an international operation today with members in Europe and North America.
Janus is a frequent speaker at industry events and chairs the renowned J. Boye Conferences held since 2005 in Denmark and since 2009 in Philadelphia, US. Among the organisations that have recently called upon Janus' expertise are local government agencies, the UN in New York and companies such as Brother, Carlsberg and Red Bull.
Brian Bentzen
Senior Moderator and Adviser
Brian Bentzen works as an Adviser and Group Moderator at J. Boye.
Brian is M.A. in History and Culture and a Master in Professional Communication. Finally he is a certified IPMA Project Manager. He has previously worked as Project Communication Manager at a web agency and as Online Communication Manager at the National Board of Social Services.
Volker Grünauer
Regional Managing Director, Digital and Intranet expert
Volker is leading J.Boye’s activities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. His primary focus is to launch and moderate local groups on web and intranet and help organizations large and small with vendor neural CMS selection processes, digital strategy and benchmarking projects.
Prior to J. Boye, he was head of e-marketing at Wienerberger, worlds largest brick producer, and worked several years in digital agencies.
Vibeke Mærsk
Office Manager & PA
When everyone else is out of the office, moderating Group meetings or customer workshops, Vibeke keeps the heart of the company; the Aarhus office under control and buzzing. Vibeke keeps the J. Boye operation running smoothly. She joins the many dots and has built up considerable experience in producing world-class conferences.
Joel Shapiro
Managing Director, USA
Joel is working tirelessly to grow the business in North America. His time is divided between managing the local Groups and coordinating the annual J. Boye conference in Philadelphia.
Joel has a background in Project Management and IT staffing and (unlike most staffers) believes in focusing on the relationship rather than the transaction.
Sara Redin
Senior Moderator & Adviser
Sara moderates J. Boye groups, evaluates CMS and implementation vendors, conducts workshops and guides clients through complex digital journeys. She holds a Master of Information Science and possesses great analytical skills.
Sara strives to find sustainable and valuable solutions that provide the best user experience on boh the front and back-ends of digital projects. She is highly experienced and has a long record of untangling complex projects and bringing invaluable insights to the table.
Lau Hesselbæk Andreasen
Senior moderator & Adviser
Lau moderates J. Boye Groups primarily in Scandinavia and the UK. He advises on intranets, digital workplace and digital strategy and is involved in J. Boye’s conferences. Lau moreover focuses on all aspects of business development including J. Boye’s various international partnerships.
His background is in business development, brand management, strategic marketing - and European cultural history.
Guy Van Leemput
Online communication and intranet expert
Guy is heading up J.Boye’s activities in the Benelux region (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg). His primary focus is launching and moderating Groups on web and intranet.
Prior to joining J. Boye, he was a senior manager at SWIFT, the global provider of secure financial messaging services, where he worked in various roles, including being responsible for all e-channels for internal and external communication.
