Biography

  Sebastiaan de Jong

Sebastiaan started his career in online business in 1996 at Origin located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He started working as a software engineer in online applications. In 2002 he focused on product information management and content management.

Via Be Value and Hartman Communicatie, Sebastiaan worked as consultant, analyst, project manager and information architect for several large companies including Philips, NXP and the ANWB with Philips as the main client. He worked in the areas of information management, product information management, web content management, search and web analytics, focusing on information processes and information architecture. In the summer of 2009 he returned to Philips Consumer Lifestyle as senior business process analyst for IT, bridging IT and marketing & communications for online information and applications. The activities are mainly about product marketing information for syndication, packages, leaflets and websites such as the Philips consumer website (www.consumer.philips.com).

Sebastiaan is co-author of the HartmanGIDS; overview of most relevant web content management systems, search en web-analytics products in the Benelux. Sebastiaan is also a certified trainer of the AIIM Business Process Management course.
