Bodleian Libraries has a rich and diverse library service. The University itself has major research libraries and libraries in faculties and departments. The colleges also have libraries; these function mainly to serve the needs of their own members, but the older colleges often also have early collections with research value.

Conference Day #2, Thursday November 4th, 16.00-17.00
The Bodleian Libraries are the integrated library service of the University of Oxford. There are major research libraries, including the Bodleian Library itself, which has been a library of legal deposit for almost 400 years.
Given such a large wealth of resources, how do you discover and access the material? How do the academic libraries meet the rising demand for targeted digital information just a few clicks away? A unified web portal is not enough. This case study explores how the Bodleian Libraries are making use of Web 2.0 and other services to deliver that information.
