How The FIFA Worldcup can Promote Your Intranet

Track: Intranet
Conference Day #1, Wednesday November 3rd, 16.00-17.00

Every week we hear about fancy new tools for Intranets. But alot of them will never get the proper love they deserve from the users. People need to be trained and activated to use their intranet, but it's often an underrated and underestimated side of launching an intranet.

Tim will present two cases about introducing large new intranets and the training & activation campaigns involved. You will see how you can use an animated video to train your users and how you can use the World Cup to create buzz around your intranet, even for those who don't like football. Besides that you will hear how users and editors are trained for a brandnew governmental intranet named Rijksportaal, that will serve over 100.000 users at 13 ministeries in The Netherlands. Lessons learned will be shared from these cases.
