eBusiness consultant, Never Ending Web
Web builder since 1998 and content specialist and social media evangelist since 2002. Journalist and national politician in between, because life should stay challenging. Apart from my day job as an eBusiness consultant, I am the owner of Never Ending Web: an online marketing and communications company. I am also the founder of Contentgirls.nl (if you speak Dutch, feel free to drop by) a website aimed at women who work with the web.
Specialties: Web & organization, online marketing, content and social media, and mostly the place where all these aspects come together.
Part-time blogger and fulltime nerd. I have a cat and would love to be a crazy cat lady when I grow up. For now though, I am also married to a former judge, who just won’t allow any cat lady antics in the house. I live in the center of the most beautiful metro pole in the world: Utrecht (Milan, New York…Utrecht), where I was born and mostly raised. I spend my holidays in Aruba, where my parents live and the partying is good.
Tutorial Day, Tuesday November 2nd, 13.00-16.00
There's a lot of social media talk, experimenting and ... failure. Since many social media projects are tool driven, non-aligned experiments, driven or even enforced by some individual or CEO, chances of success are quite small. In many cases we cannot even tell if it's a success or a failure, because there's no alignment with the organization's web strategy.
'Contentgirl' Xaviera Ringeling en 'Hartman' Erik will guide you in mixing your social media initiatives with the other channels in your web strategy. It's a workshop, so be prepared for 3 hours or really hard work! At the end of this tutorial, you will have a web strategy with social media in the mix that you can work with when you return from the conference.
