eZ Web Idol Winners

At the end of an exciting first conference day with lots of interesting presentations and lively discussions, we crowned the first Web Idol winner in the US. 4 vendors presented their products – each giving a 6 minute strictly timed demo. The judging panel; Tony Byrne (CMS Watch), Lou Rosenfeld (Rosenfeld Media) and Line Østergaard (Nycomed) commented on each presentation and the audience voted.
The winner was Norwegian open source vendor, eZ. Presenter, Bård Farstad, has previously won the European Web Idol competition. This year the judges called the presentation "smooth and capable; if anything slightly flat." The winner was announced at the evening’s conference dinner held at the spectacular ship, the Moshulu. Congratulations to eZ and thanks to all who took part.
