Can different groups and organizations that usually don’t work with each other but have similar objectives take advantage of the Social Web and create an environment where they can network and collaborate on policies, grant writing, events and project initiatives?

At the conference you can get an insight into how The California Endowment selected fourteen communities as the participants in its CalConnect site, giving each community its own designated section on the new social network.

The California Endowment is a Los Angeles-based not-for-profit foundation with a primary focus on healthcare issues. The case study will be presented on the e-health track by digital media and usability consultant Julio Zaldivar.
