Director, Internet Strategy & Operations , American Diabetes Association
Dr. David Nickelson is Director of Internet Strategy & Operations at the American Diabetes Association. In this role, Dr. Nickelson is accountable for all www.diabetes.org and www.stopdiabetes.com strategy, technology, infrastructure, operations, and development activities. His responsibilities include: Internet infrastructure development, operations and maintenance; web content development and production; email marketing campaign development and production; direct mail and email marketing coordination; electronic constituent relationship management (eCRM); ecommerce operations, marketing, sales, and fulfillment; business process development and system integration, web and business metrics collection and analysis; staff and field training and support; electronic fundraising; online advocacy; and sponsor and strategic partner cultivation.
Prior to the American Diabetes Association, Dr. Nickelson served as Assistant Executive Director, Technology Policy & Projects at the American Psychological Association. Dr. Nickelson is a graduate of the Widener University School of Law where he earned MA, PsyD and JD (cum laude). He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
Dr. Nickelson is passionate leader, dedicated to building efficient, effective nonprofit organizations that fully execute their mission.
