Founder & Managing Director, J. Boye
Janus is based in Denmark. As founder and managing director at J. Boye, he has grown the business from an office at home in 2003 to a global operation today; still a small team, but with permanent presence in both Denmark and the United Kingdom.
Renowned as a busy and productive author, Janus covers topics such as intranets, CMS, portal and social software. He has contributed to several CMS Watch reports since 2006 (including Web CMS Report, Enterprise Portals Report and The Enterprise Social Software & Collaboration Report).
He has also co-authored research on Best Practices for Using SharePoint for Public Websites – A Business Person’s Guide and Wiki in the Enterprise together with fellow J. Boye analyst Dorthe Jespersen.
As a frequent blogger he regularly shares his humble views on the fascinating and young online marketplace.
Personally and outside work, Janus enjoys collecting frequent flier miles, visiting family in the US. When home, he thrives in Aarhus all year round where he resides in an old townhouse with his fiancée and young son.
