Umbraco is an open source project with roots back to year 2000 even though it wasn't released as open source until 2004. Prior to that it was founder Niels Hartvig's home-grown weapon of choice for working as a freelancer.
Today it has grown to be among the top fifteen most popular open source .NET applications.
Web content management, Conference Day #1, Wednesday May 5th, 4.00 pm - 5.00 pm
The popular Web content management systems spawn big eco-systems which can be full of hidden gems that can increase the value of the system chosen.
In this panel you will meet 3 WCM experts with different vendor perspectives on the importance of the community.
Join a conversation about how these communities can bring more happiness for your developers in an implementation project and how to discover and dissect the often internal developer lingo found in these places.
While certainly not perfect communities have a potential of bigger value than the Web CMS itself. How do you make the most of the commuinity and how could these eco-system be improved and made more accessible to the masses?
