Knowledge sharing for digital decision makers
Conference, 3-5 May 2011

We always gather a team of interested individuals to help out at our conferences.

Typically our volunteers are people with an involvement in the industry, who are interested in the conference; students as well as industry professionals.

We need help with…

Primarily, the job of the volunteer is to provide practical support. We are looking for people who can assist as room monitors, help/registration desk attendants and other essential, practical tasks.

You don’t have to be an expert! Students and enthusiasts work alongside industry professionals. Enthusiasm and interest are the most important qualities. You don’t need a degree in computer science. The conference is a great place to learn more about portals, intranet and content management, but this kind of experience is not particularly relevant to volunteering. Volunteering is about helping us make the event run smoothly; not about XHTML and XML.

Volunteers receive free attendance passes for the entire conference, including our famous social events. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided throughout the event. We do not take care of volunteer accommodation.

Program Practicalities…

We will talk to you about which of the tracks and sessions you are most interested in and try to work the schedules around that. There will be free time to attend sessions, and you can be scheduled to monitor the rooms of the sessions that interest you.

Email us a few lines about yourself, and we will get back in touch.
