Elizabeth is a geeky-cool internet strategist who combines her self-professed social media addiction w/ in-depth technical and business analysis skills to drive employee engagement and productivity through the judicious use of social technologies.

She is Senior Manager, Employee Experience & Web Technology for Verizon Communications, where she creates a best-in-class, self-service corporate intranet by seeking new ways to bring employee HR transactions forward, enable ease of use and interactivity, and deliver relevant content while also meeting organizational and communication objectives.

Elizabeth also founded The Social Workplace, a blog that has become one of the leading resources for research, best practices and insights on how collaboration and community can drive engagement and increase productivity within the enterprise.
