Implementing UX in the enterprise

Case: Erie Insurance

Track: User experience
Conference Day #1, Wednesday May 4th, 1.00 pm - 1.45 pm

We all know the pains of establishing something new within an organization.  We also understand the tactics involved in that, showcase projects, metrics, etc.  Although this is all necessary and must be done over and over again, what really interests me about User Experience is the ability that these teams bring to drive innovation and change within an organization.

This talk will cover driving change within an organization, creating friends from detractors, providing leadership, and achieving innovation along the way. Specifically, this talk will focus on:

  1. How to find a showcase project
  2. How to report on the success of a showcase project
  3. How to enlist others to help drive the change necessary for UX to take hold
