About Carolyn Clarke
Carolyn Clarke is the Head of Web at Crowe Clarke Whitehill, where she develops and implements website strategy, including, content, functionality and User Experience. Carolyn’s expertise is in the running of strategic, enterprise-level websites and intranets as well as user-focused design and information architecture.
Before joining Crowe Clark Whitehill, Carolyn worked for AIG as an Internet Manager. AT AIG she created a strategic approach for style, content and process across AIG’s intranets.
Her focus is on bringing the principles of content marketing to intranets, striving to get content providers to move towards new ways of communicating across static and social arenas. She also works on the practical aspects of making websites and intranets disabled-accessible.
Before entering the world of web, Carolyn worked in publishing in London, having left academia for a more exciting life. She is a published novelist (as Caro Clarke) and poet, and has a well-visited website on the art of writing novels.
